FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What equipment should I bring?

Other than snowshoes, goggles or sunglasses are good things to have on a tour.

On sunny days, sun can reflect off the snow making it very bright and at times damaging to your eyes. To protect them and make the day more enjoyable we recommend bringing some sort of eye protection.

Eye protection is also useful on really stormy days when it protects your eyes from strong wind and the cold.

Although both sunglasses and goggles are fine, sometimes goggles can fog up, making it difficult to see.

Additionally, if that condensation freezes, the goggles might become more harm than good. If you do choose to wear goggles, take care to make sure that sweat does not accumulate.
